History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nija was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a brown collared shirt and blue pants. He accessorizes with a white scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His beige fur is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are yellow and beady.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gale hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gale was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and revenge

Description: Standing 5'3", this man wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants. His hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a sculptor and was forced into it by his family

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. She has a long blonde ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Mason, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.
