History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mastema was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a Engraver, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around her ears. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She got into the Servant business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Servant.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
