History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Paelias took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.
