History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears a red shirt with thin green vertical stripes and blue pants. Her tied-back hair is blonde. She has green eyes.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vani does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Vani lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: Scrag wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Now he works as a singing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants to get laid

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Slave Trader, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
