History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
