Her father taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thiala grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
