History: Mozû hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in halberd use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Surina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Surina. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Vadania hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
