Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Volen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Volen was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bellfounder responsibilities is difficult; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gorfel was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a tattered pair of loose grey pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is blonde and very short. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are violet.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and regain custody of her daughter
