History: Don was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A 6'2" southern man, he wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a scythe on his belt. He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Mortician kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
