History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriff grew up listening to her father's many stories. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents.
