History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helja grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When Helja reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her first spouse was a Glassblower, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by her family; and she wants revenge against gnolls
