Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: Shifting was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. The war was a terrible time for him, and Left-Handed does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. Harriet is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many orcs want her driven away

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Maiathah embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Maiathah was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Maiathah's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.
