Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ranala does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a worn and beaten armor. Her cinnamon fur is singed and shortened. Her yellow eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Cloud was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cloud grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cloud. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his brother

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He wears his rusty crest down. This red eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Adrex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Adrex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her red hair is still thick. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Sariel liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
