Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Lorm will drive conversation. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Lorm was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miner. He became a Miner soon after.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Synthrin hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the east to a Shipwright, Murook learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and sabotage a competitor
