History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Leaf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marastyr grew up listening to her father's many stories. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kâka grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kâka. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Born to a Adventurer, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
