Description: He wears a brown collared shirt and pastel pants. He accessorizes with a yellow scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly sais and maces. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his top brown hat.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His brass crest is long and unkept. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady red eyes.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Nadarr was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nadarr's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nadarr and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a grey shirt, with a black mid length skirt with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. Her silver hair is braided into rings. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Map Maker but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
