She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now owns her own business.

History: Valafar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in the north to a Bowyer, Panana learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She found a children's book about a Gnome Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero.
