History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Mara has worked very hard to control her curse. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She was born in the north. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
