History: Mantus was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Mantus was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: Eleanor hails from a village terrorized by drow. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Priest; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants his loneliness to end
