Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright pastel and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has no fur. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: This malnourished man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull grey iron scale mail. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Soapmaker who has hired her part-time. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in the south to a Soapmaker, Helen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Helen abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Soapmaker and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has dyed her greying bronze crest a little too much giving a sharp bronze color. This gold eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To protect her home; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: She stands about 6'4" and wears white trousers with blue and tan striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her chestnut hair is wavy and long. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
