History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Gennal was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Herleva was born with her father's beautiful face. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
