History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Matilda reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is short and blonde. He has hazel eyes and a grey hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of a Baker, who enjoyed hunting, Orsik was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Orsik took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Baker born in the past three hundred years. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Nikki hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. She keeps her black hair in a pixie cut. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Birel hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She is portly but not overly obese. Her fur is gray and very short. Her half smiles and copper eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Beast liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
