Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Vola was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Paymon never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Arava hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants revenge against gnolls
