History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Drifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Drifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Drifting. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
