History: Born in the south to a Servant, Volen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She became a Servant soon after.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Born to a Slave Trader, her father struggled to pay the bills. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and someone believes her a fraud
