Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He struck the Spy job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Spear was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Stableman, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Brewer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
