History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Qualen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Qualen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears silk and lounges about seductively. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bilga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she wears dull black sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed spear, just in case. Her crest is copper and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.
