Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
