History: Shadow was born the youngest of three triplets. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sage, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: Sumnes speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sumnes grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sumnes. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Tatyan was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.
