History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Abad and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Mardred reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
