Description: Standing 3'3", this man wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for him, and Qualen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When Qualen reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Rosalind was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Courier. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. Thodris is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Thodris was born the youngest of three triplets. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and many orcs want her driven away
