History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. At a young age her father died while driving off some goblins. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in ceremonial dagger use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Ella was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cecily fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and to unite with her sister

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.
