History: Serpent was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
