His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Ranala was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ranala's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ranala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gifted from a young age, Marbas studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
