She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Volen hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. After a long history of fighting, Volen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
