History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Andry's homeland. Andry decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She now mingles about in high society.

His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
