History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jarana embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Jarana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted.
