History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Maynild was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.
