History: Aline was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born in a small island village. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
