Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and red handkerchief worn on his right side. He carries a battered nunchaku and tarnished kukri as well. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burgell embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Burgell was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Windy speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Windy lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She tends to her Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.

Description: She wears a worn and beaten armor. She carries with her a set of hammers, each one with a jet on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
