History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Marbas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Elysande lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Slave Trader. She has worked as a Slave Trader like her mother before her.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the east to a Bricklayer, Lance learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
