History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
