When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Maiathah and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nedda grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
