History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: Varis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is an amazing painter.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
