History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Valafar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Valafar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
