History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Percival was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Seamstress. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Seamstress for hire.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She is a Junk Dealer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. She became a Junk Dealer soon after.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
