History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
