Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Broce is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Armorer. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Broce never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zedaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. He has achieved small success as a Blacksmith.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
