History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Right-Handed lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the west to a Miller, Paymon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody.
