History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her childhood dream was to be a Bricklayer, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Motivation: To be a Bricklayer again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
